David Milne and Josh James established the Noodle Box in November 1996. The first store which soon became the Flagship store was opened in Chapel Street, South Yarra (VIC), famous for its fashion and retail market.

Melburnians soon developed a keen taste for "the Original Noodles in a Box!" and approximately 18 months later, a second store was opened in Acland Street, St. Kilda, another one of Melbourne's busy and cosmopolitan shopping strips, often seen on the television drama series "The Secret Life of Us".

From there another 6 company owned stores were opened before it was decided that a Franchise Model should be adopted to further the reach and success of Noodle Box. As a result our expansion process continues to gather momentum as it plots stores around Victoria, Queensland, South Australia, New South Wales & Tasmania. We will be moving into Western Australia before the month's end.
