The instore interactive self-ordering Terminals allow customers to build up certain menu items to form a unique and totally customised meal. The Terminal operates via touch screen technology, which is simple to use as well as understand to a wide, and varied demographic. Meals are chosen from a menu list, or built up in a "choose as you go" manner, by touching pictures of meal items on the interactive screen.

Prices are displayed for each item, and a running total allows customers to pick and choose according to their tastes and budget. The Terminal prints a meal receipt that is then taken to the counter. On presentation of the Terminal receipt the customer pays the Noodle Box staff member appropriately. The meal is then prepared according to the specific choices and selections of the customer.
